Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Istanbul, Evolog Logistics offers integrated logistics services all across Turkey through its offices in Bursa, Izmir, Denizli, Adana and Istanbul Airport. In addition to road, air and maritime transport services, the company also provides export x-dock operations, bonded warehousing, warehousing, store and WEB order preparation for its customers in the retail sector in its facilities covering a total area of 36.000 m2 in Istanbul Hadımköy and Çatalca.
Apart from Turkey, Evolog Logistics has subsidiaries in Denmark, EvoLog Logistix AS, which focuses on transport and e-commerce logistics; in Germany, Evolog Logistik GmbH, which carries out sales activities; and in Azerbaijan, EvoLog Azerbaycan MMC, which provides services in all modes of transport.
In addition to its exclusive collaborations in Sweden, Evolog Logistics started to cooperate with Militzer&Munch, one of the pioneers of the sector in air and maritime transport in North Africa and France, on consolidation transport with an exclusive contract at the beginning of 2022.
Stating that they offer a wide network of services for export, import and cross transport in maritime transport and both complete container and partial transport services for all ports around the world, Evolog Logistics Maritime Director Vesile Somyak said: "Textile, iron and steel, electronics, white goods, mining, food products, chemicals are the sectors we mainly serve. We are playing an important role in ensuring the supply chain continuity of our customers thanks to our global freight agreements, competitive freight and equipment guaranteed solutions and instant load tracking system."
Expressing that they understand the demands of the customers correctly and provide them with information on the right methods of transport in such a way as to provide optimum benefit, Somyak noted that they offer solutions in terms of time and cost planning.
Somyak says the following: "By informing them about the political/physical conditions of the countries they will trade with and how their trade may be affected by these conditions, we make our customers feel that we are their solution partners and we serve all our customers with this sense of duty. The fact that maritime freight rates from China during the pandemic period increased approximately 4-5 times compared to the pre-pandemic period raised the eyes of European countries to Turkey. The leading position of Turkey, which is an important market for Europe in this period, enabled us, as Evolog, to direct our customers in line with their needs based on our existing experience in this market."
Somyak underlines that the highly specialised staff of the Danish Office and the global agreements signed with shipowners in that region enable them to expand their service network from Turkey-Denmark as well as from Denmark to ports all over the world.
Saying that in the first half of 2022, they achieved their goals of being more active in different regions, recruiting staff specialised in product basis and increasing their TEU capacities, Somyak said: 'In addition to our already existing high-volume complete container transports to the Russian territory by sea, we started to provide partial container services. We are working to increase the volume of this service until the end of this year."
Stating that they invested in the field of reefer container transport at the beginning of 2022, Somyak continued her words as follows: "We are ready to meet the needs of all our exporters in this regard. By joining our existing team in Istanbul and Izmir with the ones in Bursa and Mersin by the end of 2022, we aim to develop our maritime organisation in the cities where our main ports are located."
